Consisting of iron oxide concretion, a sandstone center with a hematite shell, they can be as old as 25 million years or as young as 300,000 years. The name comes from the Hopi tribe who were previously known as the Moqui tribe and who used them for spiritual practices and games.

Moqui marbles are very grounding and balancing and carry the earths energy, so excellent if you have been flying high during meditation as they bring you slowly and gently back, re-rooted to the earthly plane.

As they are a porous stone, they make great  diffusers, so you can use your favourite oils with them. They balance the yin yang beautifully and you can use them at the root chakra to clear any old trauma that no longer serves or past life trauma.

Many people have found that massaging painful joints with the moqui helps them to feel better.
