Martin 000-28 STANDARD 2016 Acoustic Guitar Japan Used

Description

Fully redesigned in 2016, the 000-28STANDARD is a 14-fret jointed 000-28, a longtime seller that was introduced in 1934 and has been in continuous production for over 80 years.
It is 15" in size, with an aged toned citrus spruce body top, Indian rosewood sides and back, select hardwood neck, ebony fingerboard, and ebony bridge.
This is a new standard series of Martin guitars, based on the look of prewar 000-28 guitars, but with the latest technology for playability and sound balance.
The changes from the previous model are: the nut width has been increased from 42.9mm to 44.5mm, the neck shape has been changed from low profile to modified low oval, and the neck thickness tapers less from low to high position, resulting in a high performance tapered neck. The bracing is scalloped to provide a boxy feel from new.
The vintage look is very close to prewar Martins with old-style head logo, open back tuners, diamond and square inlays on the fingerboard, herringbone binding, and tortoiseshell pickguard.
The neck is in good condition and the string height is set low for easy playing.
String height is 2.3mm on the 6th string and 1.8mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret. No wonder this guitar is popular among fingerpickers and singers. Delicate and lustrous treble, tight and grainy mid and bass tones, well balanced overall, straight through sound, and the body size is also easy to handle.

It is in very clean condition with little signs of use, but there is a hairline crack on the top of the body behind the bridge along the seam of the top board that has been repaired.
The repair has been repaired with a patch on the back side, so there is no practical concern, but the price is lower because of this. There is a scratch on the top of the body behind the bridge that is about the size of a pen nib to the size of a sesame seed, but it is so minute that it is not noticeable at a glance. There are no dents or scratches on the side backs of the body. There are a few scratches on the back of the body from clothing buttons, but the neck back and fingerboard surfaces are also very clean.
The neck back and fingerboard surfaces are very clean. The guitar has hardly been played, so it will become more comfortable as it is played more.
The 000-28 was once played by Eric Clapton on MTV Unplugged in 1992 and became a worldwide sensation. Since then, many musicians still use the 000-28, and it is still very popular.
It is recommended for female singers as well, as it is pleasant to use in the background of a song or when playing along.
