STUNNING RARE UNUSED CARD. THIS IS A GENUINE MINT UNUSED PHONECARD FROM JAPAN issued in the late 1980s/early 1990s. Please note it is not a DVD or Video, it is a telephone card issued by NTT and measures about 8.5cm x 5.5cm.

Ayrton Senna's last race start at Imola 1 May 1994, where he would suffer his fatal crash at Tamburello corner on lap 7 whilst leading the race and following a restart caused by a crash at the start which led to a safety car. The 1994 Williams had proved difficult to drive in the opening races of the season and although Senna was on pole for the race, as he had been in the first two races of the season, he and the grid were still in a state of shock over the death of Roland Ratzenberger the previous day in practice. Although it is unlikely we will ever know what caused Ayrton's crash it is widely believed to be some sort of catastrophic mechanical failure. The card shows Senna on the right with Schumacher beside him and Berger and Hill behind. The card issued by Sony Magazine was undoubtedly a memorial card and acts as a fitting tribute to a man who invariably led from the front. A rare card in excellent/mint condition.

It is unused and is as displayed in the picture.
