Here we have a rare antique pin and ribbon from the Washington D.C. Columbus Celebration commemorating the 400th Anniversary of the Discovery of America on Oct. 21, 1892. The length from the top of the pin to the bottom of the ribbon is 8", and the width is 2 1/2". You see the 5" ribbon given out at schools around the country commemorating the time, but you never see this 8" pin and ribbon for the Washington D.C. celebration. This is a rare piece of American history! Comes protected in a display case with a glass top.
