This is a lovely set of 12 French pastry or cake forks still in their original box. These are a complete set of 12 silver plated forks in a good used condition, however the box is fairly well worn. These are stamped on the back with the numbers 18/10. This is the finest quality stainless steel containing lustrous properties that are hard wearing, rust-resistant. There are also the letters SP for silver plated. These have not been polished by us, in order to retain the plate, they have a few minor light surface scratches from use, no damage, otherwise a nice little set. It is difficult to shown light scratches in photographs due to the reflection. The box is worn with more wear on the inside as shown but is solid and the clasp works; it is a little musty from years of storage. Looking at the box style, these probably date from  around 1970s. This set and was purchased at a traditional French brocante market as is all our stock. All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life.
