Most of these slides refer to "Lower coal measures" from Lancashire and Yorkshire.  There are also a few bone slides included. While the slides do not appear to be dated, most other slides in my collection come from the 1870's.

Examples include:
Stigmarian rootlets (Lancashire)
Low coal measure (rare) Stigmarian rootlets Remains of (?) Cellular Groove
L.C.M.D. Letham Sigillaria Vascularis Binney "Utricle" in Bark
Bone of Pleuraeaullius (sp?) from Northumberland Slate
Bone Rein-Deer Bone Caves Creswell G.RY
Tooth of Pygopterus
Bone of Agouti

Condition: Slides are in good condition for their age (~150 years). They could use some superficial cleaning. The box seems to be in pretty good condition. Please examine the photos, they form part of the description.
