An entry level 1595mm (62.8″) R/C glider, specially designed for ease of construction for newcomers to building radio-controlled models from a kit.

The West Wings Aurora glider makes an excellent follow-on to Almost Ready to Fly (ARTF) models.

It is very straightforward to construct. All the parts are manufactured using computer-controlled machinery, which ensures accurate fitting of components, using tab and slot fittings to allow ‘dry run’ construction if required. Sufficient space is available in the fuselage for standard radio controlled equipment to be fitted without the need to purchase additional mini or micro servos, although the latter can be installed to reduce weight and increase soaring performance if desired.

Two channel radio, controlling rudder and elevator, is needed.

The Aurora is an excellent starter model or for someone returning to r/c flying after a break.
