2024 Topps Big League Baseball cards opt for fun over fancy hits. For the second year in a row, it arrives as an early-season release, taking over the slot once held by Opening Day, which was shelved in 2023.
A lower price tag than most products, Big League doesn’t have the guaranteed autographs, either. What it does have is lots of colorful inserts and a variety of chase levels from the common to the almost impossible.
Veterans, rookies and legends are all part of the 310-card base set. Sounds simple, right? Not exactly. Like last year, it’s a tiered affair. The first 200 cards are “common” and make up the basic shell set. Uncommon Rainbow Foil (#201-250), Rare Blue Foil (#251-275), Super Rare Red (#276-300) and Legendary Gold Foil (#301-310) make things more challenging.
All cards have Black Foil (/25) and FoilFractor (1/1) parallels. Common and Uncommon cards also have Electric Orange Foil cards that are exclusive to blaster value boxes. This is the only place to find Electric Orange Foil Autographs for select cards.
Topps has also inserted 10 redemption cards good for complete sets of Cracked Ice parallels.
Rookies are the theme of Opening Act Autographs, the most common signatures to pull in 2024 Topps Big League Baseball. These fall approximately every third hobby box.
Veterans appear in Big League Autographs, which are 1:136 hobby packs (almost 1:8 boxes).
Mascots, once a staple in Topps Opening Day, are in Big League this time around. These rank among the product’s most plentiful inserts.
Collectors should find multiple Good Vibrations, To the Moon Die-Cuts and Topps Big Leaguer inserts in every hobby box as well.
The checklist has several short print inserts also. Gameday Drip (1:1,838 hobby packs), Let’s Go (1:4,907 hobby packs) and The Bigs! (1:6,464 hobby packs) all come with long odds and small print runs.
Leaving the ballpark and to the social media realm is a second installment of Hobby Influencers inserts (1:735 hobby packs). Collectors can also find Social Media Followback redemptions that will give them famous followers in the form of active and retired major leaguers.

The fine print: Please read the entire listing before purchasing. All cards shipped via USPS. Hits will be in top-loaders, rookies will at minimum be sleeved, all other cards will ship in a team bag. Per eBay rules, there are no refunds once the live break starts. Our shipping week goes Friday through Thursday, we process everything Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and USPS picks up next business day. We do combine shipping all week to help you save money! If you are unable to view the live break, the video will be uploaded on YouTube shortly after completion. If a card is pulled that has multiple players on it, whoever has 51% ownership of the teams will win the card. If nobody has 51% of the teams associated with the card, we will use random.org at the end of the break to determine the winner. This listing is not for a specific pack, box or case of cards or memorabilia. There is No Guarantee we will pull a specific card or player, just something from the team you purchase. Pictures in this listing may include images that represent cards or other items which may be available overall in the live break, but do not offer, promise, guarantee or otherwise imply the specific card(s) or other item(s) will be pulled in this break or any future breaks. If there is a card pulled that does not have an auction spot, we will use random.org to randomize the card to all auction spots for this break. If a retired player is pulled, we will award it to the team on the card. If no team is on the card, it will be the jersey they are wearing in the picture, then the team they spent time with the longest (if it comes to that). Please, no e-checks, as other buyers will not want to wait for your payment to clear before we can start the break. If a buyer fails to pay on time, their team(s) will be offered up to the group before the start of the break. In the event of a power loss and/or loss of internet service, the show will be put on pause and communication will go out to each winner about when the show picks back up. Refunds are not issued in this case. Bakersfield Hobby cannot assure the claims made by the product companies on their hit guarantees. For instance: If a specific brand claims that there are two autographs/box and we only pull one, this is not grounds for a refund from Bakersfield Hobby.
