The Orville guitar brand was produced under an official license from Gibson from around 1988 until the end of 1997.
There are two types of Orville: Orville by Gibson and Orville, with the difference being that Orville by Gibson is equipped with genuine Gibson pickups.
In recent years, the price of Orville by Gibson as well as Orville by Gibson has skyrocketed, and the price of Orville by Gibson has started to exceed that of low-priced Gibsons.
This is probably because many people are attracted by the quality of the domestic construction and the vintage Japanese sound of about 40 years ago.
Orville by Gibson is manufactured by Terada Gakki and Fujigen, and it is said that Fujigen started manufacturing Orville by Gibson around 1993.
Orville by Gibson models with serial numbers beginning with "G" are said to have been manufactured by Terada Gakki.
This guitar was made in 1993, and the "By" in the logo is vertical, so we have determined that this guitar was made by Fujigen.
Unlike regular models, this model has a five-digit serial number, which suggests that it was a limited edition model.
