I own an automotive restoration facility where all of the work was professionally done by me and my staff.  It amazes me how easily today’s insurance companies will simply declare a vehicle as totaled, for such minor damages. I have documentation for all the brand new components that were purchased, for the rebuild, as well as the before pictures. The vehicle retains all of its original body panels, except for the driver side, front fender, front bumper cover, And all associated grill, headlight pieces and hardware. I was planning on keeping this Cadillac as a personal vehicle, so as a perfectionist, I wound up Refinishing about 3/4 of the vehicle to eliminate some scuffs and scratches, and so that it would appear essentially as brand new.  Everything works exactly as it should.  There are no mechanical, lights/ issues on the dash. There is one notification that automatic, headlight leveling system, needs service. This would need to be reset at a Cadillac dealership but personally, I wouldn’t worry about it, because this does not affect anything at all.. This Cadillac is mechanically excellent, has brand new tires, and runs and drives great. The vehicle has passed Ohio state highway patrol inspection, and is being sold with a rebuilt title which is ready to transfer directly into the new owners name. This vehicle is priced so that someone will get a great deal on a highly optioned, low mileage, excellent, 2013 Cadillac XTS.  Drive it home today!
