An attractive, miniature engraved map of Nottinghamshire originally published in J. Wallis's Wallis's New Pocket Edition of the English Counties or Travellers Companion in which are carefully laid down all the Direct and Cross Roads, Cities, Townes, Villages, Parks, Seats and Rivers with a General Map of England & Wales, in c.1810. Given its small size the map is remarkably detailed, has a small simple title cartouche, a compass rose, a scale of miles, an 'Explanation' below the map, and is attractively hand-coloured. The sheet measures approximately 100mm x 145mm and is blank verso.

Condition report: Good condition, light toning and surface dust soiling, rough left edge of sheet where it has been removed from the original publication. See photographs.
