An interesting antique milking stool from the early to mid 19th century. Welsh.

This is a lovely milking stool, possibly used as a child’s seat.

Made in native hardwoods, the stool has a seat made from a single piece of turned Alder supported on turned Beech ball and baluster legs.

Condition, is good, the stool is strong and clean, one leg has been re-nailed at some time. The shrinkage split on the seat is superficial.

A strong antique stool in good order.

Thank you for looking.
