Function

The click mechanism operates with fine spring tension inside the wrench. When the set torque is reached, a click can be heard and/or felt. The higher the tension of the spring, the stronger the click. At lower settings, the click can be relatively "subtle," which is normal for all click-type torque wrenches. Therefore, it is recommended to use the torque wrench in a quiet environment and possibly without gloves when dealing with small Nm settings. At higher settings, the click is louder and more noticeable. For precise results, the tightening/turning should be done slowly, steadily, and evenly. When the click is heard, do not tighten/turn further!
