Valco Made Lap Steel from the 60's is now in stock.
This is a Lap Steel made by Valco.
There is no brand logo, and there are two pin marks and an American flag decal on the head.
It seems that a model with exactly the same design and specifications was sold under the Supro brand.
The model name was "Comet," so we have decided to use the same name for this model as well.
The POT DATE is 1968, both VOL and TONE are original PU, and the missing and easily broken PU cover is still there.
The pegs and other parts are also kept original. There are some scratches and scuffs on the whole body, peeling paint on the body edge, cracks on the head top (around the peg bushings, etc.), winder scratches, age-related color burn, weather checks, and some deterioration on the back felt.
There are also some scratches on the bridge cover, some metal parts are a little dull, and the pegs are a little stiff, but it does not look like it has been treated roughly, and considering its age, it is in good condition.
The tone is wild and attractive, different from that of the F or R company. Many people may like this sound.
