Gibson 1962 J-45 Vintage Sunburst 1996 Acoustic Guitar Japan Used

Description

The round shoulder and large pickguard are typical of the 60's look. The plastic-buttoned Cruson-type pegs and straight bridge are also unique to this model.

The exterior is in good condition considering the age, but there is a chip on the head tip that exposes the wood, a ding on the neck near the 3rd floor of the 6th string, and other minor scuffs and scratches.
Fret dents are shallow, about 70% overall, and there is no significant damage, giving the impression that the instrument has been used with care.
The truss rod nut has a washer to increase the range of movement, but it is getting hard in the tightening direction, so there is not much room for adjustment, but there is room to turn it slightly.
The neck is currently (2024/04/06) slightly more forward than straight. The top is slightly swollen and the saddle is low, so there is not much room for adjustment, but the string height is 12F, 1st string: approx. 2.1mm, 6th string: approx. 2.4mm, so you will not feel any difficulty in playing.
The nut groove has plenty of room and is set up in an easy-to-play condition, so if you take care of the condition of storage, you can use it well!
