Condition: 2 small chips on the edge of a plate (only 1 chip visible from above). Gilding worn in places.

Dominique Dénuelle, associated with Cadet de Vaux, bought the old house of Dagoty and Neppel and obtained the protection of the Duchess of Berry. The factory was then called “manufacture of her Royal Highness the Duchess of Berry”. They won a silver medal at the 1834 exhibition. Two addresses are known: rue de Crussol and boulevard Saint-Denis (where this pair of plates was made).
