Based on the powerful ARM Cortex-M3 LPC175x microcontroller and full-speed USB 2.0, the  is an excellent way to develop a class 1 custom Bluetooth device of its kind.

The entire board is only two and a half inches long, with a USB-A connector on end and an RP-SMA connector on the other.

The difference between  and other Bluetooth development platforms is that it can not only send and receive 2.4GHz signals, but also work in listening mode to monitor Bluetooth traffic in real time. This mode of operation has existed in low-cost WiFi modules for many years and has been widely used in research, development, and security audits, but so far, the Bluetooth standard has not had such a solution.
