  Jersey / Ball Point needles are used generally in fine and medium needle sizes to prevent needle damage and laddering in light and medium weight man-made and knitted fabrics. The ball on the needle point parts the fibres of the fabric rather than piercing them as a sharp needle would do.
  
  Used for knit fabrics, the ball point on this needle pushes the yarns apart instead of cutting through them.
  
  Made especially for sewing on knits. Its unique point does not damage or break knitted fibres. It comes in size 70/10 through 100/16 and in an assortment pack. Choose the size that will handle the thread being used when sewing on knits.
  
  The medium ball point displaces the loops and prevents material damage.
  The needle size should be adapted to the material.
