- Vintage covered compote/candy bowl made in Arzberg, Bavaria, Germany
- Scalloped footing at base
- Gold gilding at edges of footed base, rim at top of bowl, lid, lid's knob and base of the knob.
- There are no chips, cracks or crazing in the bowl itself and the gilding is continuous with no separation.
- The gilding on the lid does show some wear in areas.
- The backstamp on the bottom is sharp and bright.
- Approximate height with lid is 5"
- Approximate diameter across lid is 6.5"
- Discontinued pattern
NOTE: THERE IS A REPAIRED CRACK ALONG ONE SIDE OF THE LID THAT CAN BE SEEN WITH CLOSE VIEWING. I TRIED TO CAPTURE IT IN SOME PHOTOS. Please see the last two photos.
