This has been tested but it works intermittently.

The sender seems to work fine (requires 2xAA batteries). The detector (requires 9v battery) sometimes switches on and can detect a signal with the siren sounding. Sometimes it will not turn on and sometimes after a few seconds, the siren sound dies out.
