How does HDMI resolution reach 4K@60Hz?
For single monitor: Ensure your type-c device and monitor support 4k@60Hz, and are used with an HDMI 2.0 cable.
For Dual monitors:
- First, Type-C devices, external monitors, and HDMI cables support 4K@60Hz.
- For Windows/Macbook users, under duplicate/Mirror mode, both external monitors can support 4K@60Hz max. Under Extend mode/Extended Desktop mode, HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 share the resolution of the connected devices (share 4K@60Hz max).
Can a USB-C data port use for media display?
The USB-C data port is specifically for ultra-fast data transferring (5Gbps max) that can’t support media display no matter how. Media display is fulfilled by HDMI port.
