Here is one of those classic prewar Marx tin lithographed and heavy stamped steel "Glendale Depot" toy train accessories.  You see these frequently with a green factory painted base, but some were also made with red bases, and some with a pale blue.  This is one of the green based versions with streetlight and caution light.  This one is presentable, but likely would best be either to restore or as a source of parts to redo another one.  The crossing gate, streetlight, and caution pylon in the rear are all here, as is the often missing red door handle assembly on the station house itself.  A couple of missing tabs on the crossing gate to the rear, and one missing tab on the pylon, which I tried to show in the photos.  Still a nice starter station, or perhaps one for the operating layout.  No accessory pieces with this one, just the main station.  It is about 14 inches long, 10 inches deep, and 5 1/2 inches high at the highest part (the top of the roof).  Would make a great accessory on your classic O gauge (or even standard gauge) train layout, or as an add-on around the Christmas tree!  Photos from all 6 sides, plus a closeup the building front and those shots of the tabs.  Priced to sell, with only actual shipping cost on the 3 1/4 pound package charged to the winner (several options are given to you for shipping)!

Private auction for mwsiv ONLY - includes this station plus the blue based parts station.
