It is devoted to one of the most important types of economic activity and artistic culture of Ukrainians, which was an integral part of the home occupation of every peasant family - weaving. Since ancient times, fiber from flax, hemp and wool has been processed on the territory of Ukraine. The coin is made using patination technology.

The reverse of the coin depicts a weaver at work. In the upper part of the coin, against the background of a stylized cloth, is the inscription TKALYA; on both sides of the central composition is a decorative floral ornament

The obverse of the coin features the small State Emblem of Ukraine in the upper part, below which is the stylized inscription NATIONAL/BANK/UKRAINE, in the center is a stylized image of two cockerels, on the left is a spinning wheel, on the right are weaving products, and below are the inscriptions: 10/ Hryvnia/ 2010
