This is a beautiful Japanese Kutani porcelain/pottery rice bow. It is decorated in traditional fashion with flowers and butterflies. It is unsigned. We believe that it dates to the late 19th or early 20th century.
The bowl stands 6 cm high and measures 12 cm in diameter at the top and 4 cm in diameter at the footed base.
