Asahi Pentax 6x7 (MLU) Medium Format Camera

So here's the story on this camera. It belonged to my grandfather and a few years after he died it came into my possession along with a couple of other cameras.

I'm not realistically ever going to shoot medium format so here we are.

I'm also not a tech, but I've messed around a bit with the camera and while it shoots, the mirror sometimes gets locked up between shots when there's film loaded. Without film there is no mirror lock up. I honestly don't know if this is something common for this camera or if it's an easy fix.

The only other issue I've noticed is that there's a loose chain on the inside of the lens mount (pictured).

This camera has not been film tested. It spent the majority of it's life being stored in an attic but it was cared for beforehand and the that shows through the condition. Other than being a little dusty with some wear on the bottom (pictured) it's in great physical shape.

The viewfinder is remarkably clear and the lens is free of scratches and fungus.

It this camera comes with two additional lenses and a zoom extension with the original lens case (pictured).

It's also got the wooden handle/strap featured in the photos.

I'm throwing in a couple of fresh batteries. One is in the camera and a brand new one still in the packaging.

This auction is for the camera as-is, but don't hesitate to message me if you have any questions or need me to check anything else on the camera.
