Excellent restored condition!
A lovely antique chandelier from the 1920's to 1940's
Freshly rewired, new sockets added, the candle covers replaced, & all crystals cleaned.
Working great and looking amazing.
The brass / bronze arms and center pieces have no gouges or cracks.
The metal chain and brass ceiling canopy have an antique-gold finish with just a few little rubs in the finish here and there - nothing noticed when hung and in use.
The crystal hanging prisms are gorgeous and eye-catching, with no chips or cracks that we can see - possibly a "flea bite" here or there, but nothing we noticed.
There are even more little holes for adding more crystals around the bobeches at the bottoms of the candles and also behind the very bottom row of crystals, in case you want even more shimmer!
Be prepared to attach each of the crystals, as they are removed for shipping so that they don't get chipped.
The fixture uses 10 chandelier-base light bulbs up to 40 watts each (or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage for bright light).
Light bulbs and ceiling mount screws not included.
This beautiful antique is from a large antique lighting collection in Fenton, Michigan - see and watch our store for more from this fantastic collection. Here are details about the restorer:
The late Bob Daly was a marathon runner and worked in his family's burglar alarm business until he started his own antique lighting restoration business in Fenton, Michigan in the 1980's: "Historic Lighting Restoration Services and Sales". He was restoring antique lighting for almost 40 years. This beautiful light was thoughtfully and skillfully restored by Bob to the tiniest detail. From new wiring to cleaning to touching up, buffing and polishing, Bob was a master at the details. He loved what he did and was excited to share these restored works of art with the next generation (see a newspaper article picture of him in photo #23). He worked with loving care, and you can be proud to own one of his restorative works of art. We are certainly proud to have acquired his amazing collection, as we also restore and sell antique lighting and love to share it with all of you who want true antique pieces that have historic personality in your homes and buildings. Many thanks to Bob's wife, Luce, for contacting us and allowing us to share his collection with the world! :)
