Antique One Of A Kind Make-Do Oil Lamp.

The Base Was Hand Carved From What Looks Like Lignum Vitae In the Early to Mid 19th Century. 

This Dense Wood Is Native To Florida, the Caribbean and Parts Of Central America and Is Quite Heavy.

The Pressed Glass Font Is Missing the Burner.

There Is a Very Tight 1 1/2" Hairline and a Tiny Chip On the Base.

Measures 8 1/2" High and the Base Is About 3 1/2" Square.

As With Almost All Make-Dos, This Piece Is Unique.
