This bike is not a toy, and would suit boys, girls or small adults who are keen to get into cycling. This bike has been enjoyed, and outgrown, by both of my children. It has covered decent distances - hundreds of miles per year - in the time that we've owned it, and has the scuffs that you might expect from such serious use. On the other hand, and because it has been used seriously, it has also been properly serviced and rides well.
This bike has, with the exception of the occasions when it's come on cycling holidays with us, been stored in the warm and dry of the house (it has never been subjected the rigours of a damp shed). Other than some very light oxidisation on the brake tensioning springs (see photographs) there is no corrosion on this bike.
Please check the photos carefully, I have tried to make sure that all scuffs are properly represented in the pictures.
Brakes are Tektro, the groupset is Shimano Tourney with integrated brakes / shifters - which, although not fancy, is very tough and able to withstand whatever rigours are thrown at it. The frame is 6061 aluminium. Wheels are 24". Frame size is 15" from centre of bottom bracket to top of bike.
