Antique lace making bobbins from the 19th century. Several personalized with names. “EADY” in dots on one “THOMAS” on another. They are hand crafted, hand turned in decorative shapes some with colorful dots and Polychrome decoration on the shaft of the bone bobbin. The colorful cut antique glass beaded ends are attached to the bobbins by wire. They were used as weights to hold the treads tight while they were sewing lace. Some still have original thread. They range in age from late 18th century to mid 19th century. They are in excellent condition. Most likely made in England.
