Contax NX & Carl Zeiss 24-85mm f3.5-4.5 AF Zoom lens

Film tested.  Appears to be working well, AF sluggish/intermittent at times but seems encouraged by use. Optically it's a superb lens, I use it manual focus most of the time (it has a focus assist indicator) anyway as that what I prefer in these older film cameras whose AF speed is so slow compared to my modern mirrorless cameras.

Back cover marked cosmetically. (See images) It does not affect operation.

Shutter speeds seem fine though not scientifically tested.  I’m seriously impressed with the output of the combination of this camera and lens and it reminds me in use of my old Contax 645.

Good Contax strap, unbranded lens cap and pretty hopeless unbranded hood included.
