Film captures a night in Sahara City, Egypt where belly dancers entertained crowds. Dancers include Nagwa Fouad, Firga Sha’abizya and Soheir Zaki. Amazing dancers that have performed in more than 100 movies.

FILM CONDITION:

Film appears to be in very good shape, ran smoothly, good sound and has no detectable vinegar syndrome. The sound stops and starts as the cameraman pauses filming.

Rough timeline:

3 min - groups of belly dancers, dancers with candelabras on the heads, male dancers with tables and chairs on their heads (this portion of film is quite dark)

6 min - Nagwa Fouad being carried out in elaborate carriage help by two strong men, belly dancing

2 min 45 sec - group of men playing music, dance, joined by female dancer, singer

3 min - Soheir Zaki, belly dancing
