-5pc Maple/Walnut neck-through
The 5pc neck is made of a combination of maple and hard walnut for a clear sound image and rich attack, and the lower part of the body, where the bridge is located, is molded as a single piece.
The most important feature of this neck is its long sustain, rich resonance, and a snag-free playing feel in all positions, including the upper registers.
-Machine heads
The machine heads that control tuning are the same as those used on the SR model and other Ibanez electric basses. This choice ensures both ease of use and stability.
-34inch scale
The scale length is 34 inches, which is the same as that of a standard electric bass, and was chosen with the assumption that the electric bass player will be able to change the scale.
-Jatobafretboard
Jatobafretboard is a hard South Sea wood with brownish/reddish-brown bark and grain similar to quince or bubinga. It is harder than maple and equally hard as rosewood, making it suitable for fretboards.
-Compound Radius fretboard
The fretboard has a compound radius finish, in which the radius of the fretboard surface gradually increases from 60mmR to 90mmR as you move from the nut to the scale line above the bridge. It is easy to grip near the nut and easy to press the strings at high frets.
-Custom AeroSilkMR5 bridge
This bridge has a monorail structure where each string is independent. The bridge is designed to transmit the string vibration directly to the body with little interference from the other strings or other strings. AeroSilk pickups tuned specifically for the UB model are mounted in the saddle on the bridge.
The controls are very simple, with only volume and active tone, and the volume of each string can be adjusted with the trim on the back of the bridge to instantly adjust the volume balance.
-TAMA Roadprostand custom for Upright
The TAMA Roadprostand custom for Upright comes with a black matte-colored stand based on TAMA's Roadpro series of drums.
-Padded Gigbag
A special padded bag is included. The main body and stand can be stored separately, and the bag is equipped with a handle for carrying and a shoulder belt for carrying on the back.
