Trattasi di un orologio da tasca della Longines, databile 1917 (movimento 3503932), elegante, ancora, volendo, ben usabile. La doppia cassa, in argento massiccio, ha un diametro di 48mm, ed è in discrete condizioni, qualche bottarella euna non perfetta chiusura, ma l'orologio è usato ma non abusato.
La cassa interna è marcata ovviamente Longines, ed il numero di serie del movimento è ripetuto su entrambe le casse interne, il movimento è marciante anche se ha un forte ritaro di molti minuti nelle 24 ore (per l'uso andrebbe ovviamente controllato e tarato), ed è naturalmente di qualità Longines.
Il quadrante, in porcellana con grandi numeri arabi e secondiera ausiliaria ad ore 6, presenta vari difetti e piccole rotture qua e là, però nel complesso non è da "buttare via"......

This is a pocket watch made by Longines, dated 1917 (movement 3503932), elegant, still, if desired, well usesable with a control and calibration.
The double case, made of solid silver, has a diameter of 48mm, and is in fair condition, a few bumps and a less than perfect clasp, but the watch is used but not abused.
The inner case is obviously marked Longines, and the serial number of the movement is repeated on both inner cases, the movement is running although it has a strong retardation of many minutes in the 24 hours (for use it should obviously be checked and calibrated), and is of course of Longines quality.
The dial, in porcelain with large Arabic numerals and an auxiliary second hand at 6 o'clock, has various hairlines and small cracks here and there, but overall is not to be 'thrown away'......
