Circular Trafalgar Side Table / Occasional Table

Solid Beech Glass Top Single Drawer

This circular side table is a good quality piece of occasional furniture, and it's framework is made from solid beech.

The circular top depicts a scene from the Battle Of Trafalgar below a protective bevelled glass cover, and also pictured is Lord Horatio Nelson. Around the bottom of the scene are the words:

"England Expects That Every Man Will Do His Duty."

That was a signal sent by Vice-Admiral of the Royal Navy Horatio Nelson, 1st Viscount Nelson from his flagship HMS Victory as the Battle of Trafalgar was about to commence on 21 October 1805.

The edges of the solid beech framed top are well moulded, and a small shallow baize lined drawer is located at the front of the circular apron, while a quartet of reeded tapering legs provide an elegant means of support.

Condition

The condition is generally very good, although there are some scuffs and dings around the edges of the top.

Measurements

The height measures 22 inches.

The width measures 22 inches in diameter.

Please note that all measurements are the maximum overall sizes.
