They were filled with Bear Grease. Some of these Bears were made for different retails distributors and were embossed with the firm's name on the bottom of the bear. This one is not marked which means it was sold directly by the Boston & Sandwich Co since the ones they sold were not marked on the bottom.Two piece, the bear's head is a cover.
