A lovely Arthur Price canteen of silver plated County Plate cutlery in the very rare 'Juliet' pattern, with RD860211, which dates it to 1950/51, so over 70 years old, presented in a beautiful walnut canteen box with fitted wine coloured velour interior. Comprised of 52 pieces in total, with table settings for 6 persons.


The knives all marked 'County Plate' "Made in (A P) England', and 'Firth Stainless' on the blades. Also marked with the design number RD860211.All other pieces marked 'Made in England' 'County Plate' 'EPNS' and stamped with the maker's mark 'AP & CO'.


A very limited amount of this design were produced and it has a mid-century feel to it. The canteen box is very good quality, far superior to modern boxes and with a lovely patina and grain pattern.
