The brooch has a colour change quality, displaying variable hues of purples and pinks in different lighting conditions
There are a total of 25 claw-set faceted paste stones.
The brooch is partially open backed with the paste stones having a foil backing. The partial separation of these two elements can be seen through the back facets.
