A nice set of 3 Liverpool Road Pottery "CRIES of LONDON" series plates

Relisted at the much reduced starting bid price of £12.50, (down from £29.50!)


This auction is for a set of three 9-1/8" decorative plates in the "Cries of London" range in  near perfect condition by the Liverpool Road Pottery Ltd in Stoke-on-Trent; they have obviously used base plates by another pottery as their mark is printed over  the other, which they seemingly commonly did. (Saved making and firing their own plates!)

The scenes are
"Primroses - Yellow Primroses"
"Who'll Buy My Lavender" and
"Sweet Oranges"



DETAILS:-
Colour ~ Creamy glaze with pgrey-green surround, lithographed image and gold leaf detail
Sizes ~ 233mm  diameter by c25mm overall height
Weight ~ 410gms each

Packing: These would be individually wrapped in bubble wrap and each put into a suitable box and then these would be further protected with energy absorbing packing beans or similar within a larger carton





Overseas members are welcome to bid, provided they message me before bidding to confirm

c) travel to the UK to collect in person.

SHIPPING ESTIMATES:

Home delivery - This is cheapest by a low cost 3-5 day courier at £7.80 to UK zone 1 "non remote area" post codes, (it will be more to the Highlands and Islands or Northern Ireland)

I think it will not be economic to send these overseas but I am willing to if the buyer feels that it is!
I will only send these insured, in this case to £50.00 FBV, and by means requiring a signature on delivery - see more on this below. Please realise that additional insurance will be payable if the FBV goes above £50.00
No packing charges are added; you just pay what I pay to send it!

NB: This item may be picked up in person, otherwise it will be despatched securely, via a tracked and insured service only, so it will need to be signed for at the delivery address. I will not send it to a PO box, or care of a business address without written acceptance of your liability for loss, theft or damage; the registered address for your accounts within both eBay and PayPal must tally exactly with each other and be the same as the delivery address.

Carriage charges, where indicated, are for UK (zone 1) post codes only. If you are in other zones or are an overseas bidder, you can get an estimate of shipping costs by checking online.
Payment may be by Pay Pal/cheque/postal order/bank transfer or with real money if collecting in person, but please note that I do wait 12 working days before posting items against cheques and 8 against bank transfers on the advice of my bank; PayPal payments ensure prompt postage.

Please confirm your full address when completing the transaction via the eBay and PayPal message system to avoid delays on despatch and supply a landline or mobile telephone number or both; I now fully check identifies and addresses before sending items because of fraud attempts and courier booking requires the telephone number.

I now also reserve the right to cancel a bid from anyone with zero or very low/bad feedback; if you are in this situation, you must provide me with your full details by e-mail prior to bidding to avoid this action, and please remember that this auction is in £ Sterling (GBP) and not $ US or Euros or whatever!
You can also forget it if you think I will fall for money laundering attempts.
