# Scottish Thistle shaped measure. 1/2 gill capacity 8.8 cm high  with 2 pairs of decorative incised lines around body. An uncommon piece as legislation deemed them illegal to use as they could not be emptied unless tipped upside-down. As a consequence most were destroyed so the remaining few are both uncommon and highly sought-after!

All 3 pieces are in good condition considering their age. I can see no sign of any repairs. No damage other than the usual minor dings and scratches - as you would expect to see with pieces of such age.
