Antique silver plate gallery tray from Sheffield, England. The tray features intricate Victorian-style detailing and nice button feet. The tray is from the late 1800s to the 1930s, and its composition is silver plate. Ideal for use in serving snacks, drinks and decanters, or displaying decorative items. Condition shows age and use: spots of corrosion and places where it was polished too hard. Nice button feet. Unusually, the plating is not worn off--there is little or no copper base metal showing on the tray.

I have given the top surface and galleries a cursory polish. The bottom surface is as I found it in Maine.
