 Jet is a semi-precious stone which, when polished, takes on an intense waxy lustre ofthe deepest opaque black - hence the use of the term 'jet-black'` in literature since the eleventh century. The rich black colour never fades, and the shine which can  be achieved is such that polished jet was even used as mirrors in medieval times.   Jet comprises an unusually pure and hard form of fossilised wood - more specifically an ancient and abundant species of monkey puzzle tree.

Returns / Refunds

I am happy to accept returns of items, details as follows:

Any item which is unsuitable for the buyer, such as it does not fit or you have changed your mind may be returned within 14 days of signed for delivery. You will receive a full refund of the item sale price. Also, the return postage fees will need to be paid by the buyer. Gift bags / pouches / boxes must also be returned. 

I carefully inspect all items before sending, but should an item arrive to you damaged in any way please message me with an image of the damaged item, and I will offer you a replacement if one is available, or a full refund.

I take a great deal of care to ensure my listings of items are accurate. Ring sizes are checked with a standardised mandrel, and gemstone measurements are accurate to the mm. However, should you feel you have received an item that is not as described please message me to discuss.
