Built by Messageries Maritimes, La Ciotat, France for the Messageris Maritimes Line. Tonnage:6,019. Dimensions: 442’x50’. Twin-screw, 18.5 knots triple expansion engines, two masts and two funnels. As the AMAZONE commenced service to South America, but was transferred to the Far East trade in 1912. Vessel was reconditioned in 1923. Sold for scrap in February 1932. Ex – LAOS (1904)
