These four hand-made developing tanks are in good condition. Two are made from stainless steel sheet metal, and the other two are made from black acrylic. Also included are four sheet film hangers to use with the tanks, meant for 4x5 large format sheet film (they also fit plates). These stainless steel hangers are made by Kodak, and are of good quality and easy to load. The main benefit of these tanks is that they only require about 800mL of chemicals for film development, as compared to some other tanks that need up to 1600mL. This is also the best way to develop photographic plates, from dry-plate photography. The tanks are open, and without lids, so a darkroom is required.
