AEG Olympia LT 386/SX Acer Anywhere 1100LX Portable Lunchbox Computer - REPAIRED

I have spent a LOT of time (too much?) bringing this machine back from the dead!
This is a rebranded Acer Anywhere 1000LX

  • It came to me with LCD issues.  LCD has been recapped, and voltage regulator in the contrast circuit replaced.  LCD is about as good as it gets now (which still isn't great).  External VGA available.
  • Dallas chip has "battery hack" with fresh battery.  But I also socketed it for easier replacement in the future.
  • Floppy drive had significant corrosion from leaky capacitors.  I 3D printed a bracket, and installed a Gotek.  (old floppy included if you want to repair it)
  • RAM upgraded to 5MB.
  • Every switch on the keyboard has been torn apart, cleaned, lubricated, and reassembled.  Works perfect!
  • Original 40MB Connor HDD is in great working shape.  Wiped clean, and MSDOS 6.22 installed.
  • Suitable power supply is included, albeit not original.
  • Original carrying case included!
The keyboard, and a couple of other parts could use a retrobrite treatment.  I tested on a couple of pieces, and it vastly improved.  I'll leave you to finish the job.
