The skeletonised dial with
Jacks striking on bells, enamel chapter ring with Arabic numerals and breguet
hands, bright steel strike work visible through the dial, circular drum
engine-turned case with coin edge band. Marked, tested 18k gold. Domed crystal.
Push repeat pendant, the
frosted gilt full plate movement is beautiful, hand engraved, with pierced steel
balance cock, plain brass three arm balance, chain fusee and verge escapement.
Two hammers striking on blued
steel gongs, circa 1810, case 55 x 22mm. 116,5 g.

The watch is like new, it does
not appear to be about 200 years old, but keeping good time (is a bit fast), by
a little winding it starts immediately, with very good power reserve.
