SAAB 99 TURBO Gearbox

An original Chillcast (or Kokill in Swedish) 4-speed gearbox uniquely fitted to

the Saab 99 Turbo.

These are a completely different animal to the standard 99 manual

gearboxes, not only utilising an entirely different manufacturing process, but

different in design also, with additional strengthening castings internally and

additional cooling fins externally.

As for the internals, these too are unique, with different ratios and

strengthened gears unique to the Turbo.

Designed and developed to handle the 230 bhp rally cars.

I have had this particular Chillcast gearbox in careful storage since the early

1990s and knowing its provenance, coming from a low mileage 99 Turbo, I

can vouch for its condition.

A rare opportunity.

A courier can be arranged at cost, alternatively pick up in person is fine. Due to the amount involved cash or bank transfer is preferable, but the usual ebay payment method is also fine.
