This is a complete set of 25 paperback books in the Kinsey Millhone series, all of which were written by Sue Grafton. The condition of the books ranges from FAIR to NF- (near fine minus), with my rating scale progressing as follows: FAIR . . G . . G+ . . VG- . . VG . . VG+ . . NF- . . NF
A book that is in FAIR condition will have a fair bit of wear, but it will not have any flaws that would make it unreadable or horribly unsightly. The cover may be a little soiled and/or tanned from age and will have moderate or more edge wear. If the book is a paperback there may be some creasing on the front, back or spine. The spine may be a little faded, slanted and/or a little cocked. Clear tape may have been applied at the top or bottom of the spine to repair a small tear. There may be a name, inscription, price or bookstore stamp inside somewhere. The pages will be tight, but they may be less crisp than when new, may show some age tanning, and may have small smudges, stains and corner folds. Two or three pages may have a small edge tear. Two books have a small piece clipped from the upper corner of the first page. One book has some light yellow spotting/staining on the page edges.
A book that is in NF condition will be almost like new. The cover may have slight edge wear and the pages may show a little age tanning.
