The Helios 44m 58mm f/2.0 cine lens is a vintage lens compatible with Canon EF mount cameras. It features manual focus and a maximum aperture of f/2.0, making it ideal for low light situations. The lens was manufactured in the 1980s and is made of aluminum. It is also compatible with 52mm filters. This lens is a unique option for filmmakers looking for a vintage aesthetic.
Anamorfake conversion with oval insert and EF mount for use with Canon cameras with EF mounts.
Please note that this lens does not have aperture control, it was made for use on an IR night scope, so there is no need for aperture control.  The optical formula is the same as the Helios 44M, but for the IR scope, the lens is manufactured without the aperture mechanism since it is not needed for the IR application.  Test shots taken with the lens were done using a Sony a7Rii, the oval insert makes it a permanent f4 or close to that f stop.
