 The size of the outer underpainted horn case is 53 m.m. 

The horn is a mottled brownish it is in very good condition with a first class good colour, 

a lot of the pins are still in place.  

Nice to see how well this watch was looked after as the pendant has never had to be repaired.

underpainted horn was only used on very expensive watches. 

The technique used was the same as used on glass miniatures,

and would have been executed by them. 

A piece of very thin horn that was almost tranlucent, 

was painted in reverse and then attaced to the case.

The size of the case with the watch is case is 56 m.m 

With nice gold colour hands.  

DIAL white enamel dial. 

The glass is very high domed mineral clean and clear.

 The watch has been serviced. the time keeping is aprox + or - 1-2 minuets per hour . Just serviced.

 The movement is a vege fusee and has a silver Tompion regulator.

Just great to have such an amazing and interesting watch that is as good as this one, and it just has every thing one could want on a fine verge watch, very hard to find a watch in this condition with all that it has going for it.
