OCD V2
Since its first release many, many moons ago, the Fulltone OCD overdrive pedal has gone through a few iterations, each one tweaking and improving on the last.

With this iteration, Fulltone have given the OCD enough of an upgrade, with numerous new features, for it to merit a full v2.0 title.

Class-A Wired JFET Input
Raising the impedance from the previous iteration of the OCD from 330K to 1 Mega ohm, the OCD V2's Class A wired JFET input gives you a better interface for all types of pickups.
By isolating the input from everything coming before the Fulltone OCD in your signal chain and giving you more touch sensitivity than any previous OCD, or any other pedal, it is clear why the OCD V2 impresses guitarists and their audiences alike.

Buffered Output
Completely isolating the pedal from anything that follows it in the signal chain, the buffered output ensures the OCD2 has increased sustain and overtones, even at low distortion settings.

Awesome Dynamic Range
Setting itself apart from the competition, the Fulltone OCD boasts an extremely wide dynamic range. Whether you're softly strumming or picking hard, the Obsessive Compulsive Drive pedal automatically gives you the perfect overdrive sound.

With its natural, ride range of distortion and less compression that traditional diode-clipped overdrives, the OCD always sounds organic and perfectly complements your performance and playing style.

You'll also find that the OCD pedal gives you beautifully complex overtones without changing the inherent tone of your amp or guitar so you don't lose your signature sound.

Internally Switchable True Bypass and Enhanced Bypass
A fantastic innovation coming from Fulltone, Enhanced Bypass is a huge improvement over the industry standard that is unity-gain JFET which removes all dynamics from the signal and the bi-polar buffers used by others.

Fulltone's Enhanced Bypass also manages to avoid the phase issues and tone-loss that curses most other circuits too.

An exclusive Fulltone bypass system, Enhanced Bypass brings back all your lost dynamics and tone that other pedals and cables take away.

But most importantly, the Fulltone OCD puts the ball in your court and allos you to switch between either True Bypass or Enhanced Bypass with an internal switch.

Full Control of Your Tone
Allowing you to get great results, the Fulltone OCD overdrive pedal has simple but extremely effective controls made using the best parts available.

By turning the Drive knob clockwise you increase distortion. Keeping it below 10 o'clock you can enjoy cleaner sounds while boosting your amp's input without changing the fundamental tone.

With the Volume knob you control the amount of signal exiting the pedal. Since the OCD has about 20dB of available gain (and even more in HP mode), you might want to move the Volume control up to about 9 o'clock if you want some sweet unity gain.

Then there's the HP/LP switch found in the top-centre of the Fulltone OCD pedal. Set to HP (High Peak) mode, you et increased distortion throughout the Drive knob's range with more volume and an increase in the 1-2kHz midrange frequencies. This gives you that classic British sound for a bit of a Vox/Marshall touch.

When switched over to the LP (Low Peak) setting, you get awesome sound that's incredibly faithful to that of your guitar and amp with barely any colour. This is great if you want to boost your clean tones or you can crank it to get that cool Blackface and Tweed-style sound.

Using the Tone knob you can adjust the delivery of the high frequencies. Turning the knob clockwise you get a raw, uncompressed feel while turning it anti-clockwise gives you smother, high-gain lead sounds.

Lastly, there's the Full-tone designed manufactured 3PDT footswitch for solid and secure activation of the overdrive.
